DBeaver is free and connects to almost anything, but it's built on Java and Eclipse, and its own issue tracker carries long-running reports of slow startup (over a minute) and heavy memory use. TuskDB is native Swift and AppKit: fast to launch, light to run. It has a real pgvector workflow DBeaver doesn't, a visual EXPLAIN with a computed verdict, and it's built only for Postgres.
